About this work

Description

Bronzerius practised medicine in various cities within Venetian territories, ending in Belluno, where he died. He published works on historical and natural philosophical subjects, including: the history of Rovigo; on whether the river Adige was mentioned by Plutarch; a defence of Galen's view on innate heat and natural spirit; and on the anatomy of the liver in the lamprey (Christian Gottlieb Jöcher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexicon, Leipzig 1750-1751, vol. 1 col. 1399)
