Description

From an edition published in 1537 (16th year of the Jiajing reign period of the Ming dynasty). The image shows the standing acupuncture figurine (the 'Bronze Man'), from the back view, with five channels extending over the entire body, i.e. hand yangming (Yang Brightness) channel; hand shaoyang (Lesser Yang) channel; hand taiyang (Great Yang) channel; foot shaoyang (Lesser Yang) channel; and foot taiyang (Great Yang) channel.
