Description
Ink drawing from a MS of the Qing period (1644-1911). It illustrates the method for locating juliao (Stationary Crevice), huantiao (Jumping Circle), jingmen (Portal of the Capital), riyue (Sun and Moon), weidao (Linking Path), with the patient lying on his or her side. These points all belong to the gall bladder channel of foot shaoyang. They are treated with acupuncture and moxibustion to alleviate joint pains in the legs and back associated with wind-damp (yaotui fengshi bitong), and pain and distension in the sides (xielei zhangtong).
