Description

Chinese woodblock print from an edition of 1680 (19th year of the Kangxi reign period of the Qing dynasty). It shows the position of the dazhui (Great Vertebra), feishu (Lung Conveyor) and ganshu (Liver Conveyor) points on the surface of the body. Dazhui lies between the 7th cervical vertebra and the spinous process of the 1st thoracic vertebra; feishu lies below the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun [Chinese inches] lateral to it; and ganshu lies below the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to it.
