Description

Chinese woodblock print from an edition of 1680 (19th year of the Kangxi reign period of the Qing dynasty). It shows the position of the youmen (Hidden Portal) and jiaoxin (Exchange Letters) points on the surface of the body. The former lies 0.5 cun [Chinese inches] lateral to the midline of the abdomen, 6 cun above the navel; the latter is located on the inner part of the shin, 2 cun above the internal malleolus (neihuai), at the back of the inner edge of the tibia.
