About this work

Description

The Indian child with the parasitic twin is probably the boy known as "Laloo" (Lalloo). If so, the parasite was masculine with a penis but no testicles. It contained intestines but the anus was imperforate. Laloo was a participant in a protest meeting at Barnum's where the people exhibited asked to be known as "prodigies" rather than "freaks"
